ANZCA dedicates more than $1.5 million to medical research each year
"It's critical for emerging and established researchers to be able to easily access contextualised research information resources, to support their research career development"
Professor David A Scott, chair ANZCA Research Committee.
The
toolkit offers a primer for emerging investigators and research coordinators who would like to know more, and support materials for both new and established researchers. There are extensive links to existing college and library resources, as well as to the broader Australasian and international research communities.
Research is integral to ANZCA’s vision of being “a recognised world leader in training, education, research and in setting standards for anaesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain medicine”. Research advances medical science, provides the evidence base for clinical practice and standards, and drives continuous improvement in educating our future workforce. Ready access to online information resources and professional research services at critical points in research projects and careers can be vital for the success of novice as and experienced researchers alike.
