CPD grants for rural specialists in Australia

A new funding round has opened for the Support Rural Specialists in Australia program.

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and managed by the Council of Presidents of Medical Colleges, grants of up to A$10,000 are available to eligible trainees, fellows and SIMGs to support continuing professional development activities such as conferences, workshops, clinical attachments and peer review. 
To apply you must be a fellow, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander trainee, or an international medical graduate of the college and work in a regional, rural or remote area.

The application deadline for funding round seven is 31 March 2023. CPD activities must be completed between 1 July 2023 and 30 September 2024.
