Diploma of rural generalist anaesthesia update

Work on the new diploma of rural generalist anaesthesia has been progressing in preparation for the first intake of trainees in 2023

The diploma is a new 12 month qualification being developed by the college in collaboration with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

A curriculum development working group comprising fellows of three colleges have recently completed development of the curriculum and associated assessment strategy for the diploma.
