Seeking SIMG interviewers and assessors
Are you a fellow with an interest in assessing or interviewing specialist international medical graduates?
We're looking to increase the number of fellows involved in interviewing and assessing anaesthesia and/or pain medicine specialist international medical graduates (SIMGs) who are applying for specialist registration and eligibility for fellowship.
You will need to have been a FANZCA or FFPMANZCA for at least three years and be in good standing with the college/faculty and regulators.
Interviewers
This role involves sitting on the interview panels that evaluate applicants against the standards of required by anaesthesia or pain medicine specialists in respect to training, qualifications, specialist practice and CPD.
WBA assessors
This role involves conducting the SIMG workplace based assessment (WBA) process for eligible ANZCA or FPM candidates. The workload is about one to two days annually.
