Christine Taylor’s journey into health and wellbeing has been predominant through her personal life and professional career.

Christine gained a Diploma in Sport & Fitness Management and was a Personal Trainer as well as managed a local gym for over 10 years.

Wanting to enhance her knowledge with wellbeing and health, along with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives, Christine gained a Bachelor of Nursing. 

She has previous experience working with District Nursing and Corrections Nursing.  

Prior to working for Fit For Surgery, Christine worked as a Community Mental Health Nurse moving into managing a team of Registered Health Professionals and Support Workers.  She governed a Wellbeing Strategy within this role covering six facets of wellbeing for staff and patients.  When the opportunity was established to help develop Fit For Surgery, Christine recognised this would be a good combination of skills.
With this previous experience and knowledge, Christine appreciated the importance of the Fit For Surgery initiative and the merits of longitudinal success. As a Registered Nurse, Christine has been employed since the initiative’s inception three years ago.
