Dr Chris Futter graduated from the University of Queensland in 2010. In 2017 he completed his Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) specialist training. During this specialist training he completed his provisional fellowship training in Vascular Anaesthesia at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. It was during this time he also completed a postgraduate certificate in education and simulation.

Chris is devoted to the education of anaesthetists and other health personnel. He has a special interest in using simulation and virtual reality to recreate operating theatre environments for educational purposes. 

Chris is a collaborator with the Herston Biofabrications Institute where he passionately endeavours to apply 3D manufacturing technology to anaesthesia.
