Professor Jennifer Weller

Professor Jennifer Weller leads the Centre for Medical Health Sciences Education in the School of Medicine at the University of Auckland. She remains connected with Auckland City Hospital, now focussing on pre-assessment clinic and supporting clinical research.
 
Her main areas of research are in competency based medical education and simulation-based team training. She is leading the CBME initiative for ANZCA, introducing an updated program of competency-base assessment in 2022. Her interest in simulation and team training over many decades has led to the national ACC funded NetworkZ multidisciplinary team-training program for acute care teams in the operating room and ED.
