Dr Suzi Nou

Professional advocacy – Managed Care. What is it and what does it mean for me?

Dr Suzi Nou is president of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA). She’s an anaesthetist in Melbourne with a mix of public and private practice and has also worked in Fiji, Cambodia and Darwin. Suzi sits on the Victorian State Trauma Case Review Group and Victorian Healthcare Worker Infection Prevention and Wellbeing Taskforce, as well as representing the ASA on the steering committee of the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce (which oversaw the work of the Infection Prevention Control Panel).
 
Dr Nou is host of the podcast Australian Anaesthesia and has an interest in fostering diversity of leadership in medicine. She also has a Masters of Public Health with a focus on global health and health systems strengthening.
