Jessica Veneziano

Starting with ANZCA back in 2014 and with experience in multiple roles, SIMG Workplace Based Assessor (WBA) Administrator Jessica Veneziano has been in her current role since 2019. 

"Arranging a WBA requires a lot of scheduling, documentation, correspondence, organising, and, in recent times… re-organising! COVID has certainly made things challenging. In 2020 we managed to complete 30 WBAs which was really quite amazing. The SIMGs and our assessors showed a lot of patience and understanding as we all worked together to make things happen”.

Jess attributes a lot to the support of her WBA assessors, “the most rewarding part of working with our SIMGs is seeing them through their process to fellowship. It is also really nice to see fellows, who were SIMGs, come back and assist as interview panel members or WBA assessors. We have a really wonderful culture in this way”.
