Ms Selina Hunt

Selina is the Head of Practice, Legal for Avant Law in Queensland and South Australia. In her role she leads
a team of experienced solicitors and administration staff to provide legal assistance and support
to Avant members throughout Queensland and South Australia. Selina also personally represents members
in civil claims, coronial investigations/inquests and professional conduct matters.

For two decades, Selina has practised in insurance litigation, specialising in defending claims and
complaints against a wide range of health and other professionals. Since joining Avant 11 years ago, Selina
has solely represented medical practitioners and their practices.

Selina recognises the claim/complaint process can be extremely distressing and always endeavours to
provide support during the legal process whilst striving for the best possible outcome on each matter.
