Dr Renee Franklin

Dr Renee Franklin MBChB FANZCA is a consultant anaesthetist working in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand. She is the clinical lead of the preassessment service at Tauranga Hospital and a member of the NZSA and the Perioperative SIG executive committees. Her areas of interest include perioperative medicine and service improvement. Currently she is interested in identifying an equitable approach to managing research constraints in the post-pandemic era.

Renee has lived in Tauranga for 10 years with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys running and yoga.
