Events and courses
Our events, meetings, courses, seminars, workshops, and evening lectures are developed by experts and tailored to the training and continuing professional development needs of anaesthetists, specialist pain medicine physicians, and the wider medical community.
The ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is Australasia’s premier anaesthesia meeting. Held over five days in May, it attracts up to 2500 delegates, and an outstanding line-up of local and international speakers. Each year, we explore innovative new ways to deliver continuing professional development (CPD) and networking opportunities through a program of plenary sessions, small group discussions, and hands-on workshops. The social program is equally exciting and diverse.
We also run a range of special interest group (SIG) and regional continuing medical education events around Australia and New Zealand on behalf of the Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) tripartite alliance.
Fellows, trainees, and SIMGs receive a monthly events e-newsletter, so keep an eye on your inbox at the end of every month. And our external events calendar promotes other clinical events and courses you might be interested in. If you have a relevant anaesthesia or pain medicine event you'd like us to promote, please complete the form.
