Events and courses
Our events, meetings, courses, seminars, workshops, and evening lectures are developed by experts and tailored to the training and continuing professional development needs of anaesthetists, specialist pain medicine physicians, and the wider medical community.
The ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is Australasia’s premier anaesthesia meeting, attracting up to 2500 delegates, and offering an outstanding line-up of local and international speakers. Each year, we explore innovative new ways to deliver continuing professional development (CPD) and networking opportunities through a program of plenary sessions, small group discussions, and interactive workshops. The virtual 2022 ASM took place from 29 April-3 May 2022. If you couldn’t attend in real time, delegates can watch session recordings in their own time and have access to 80+ hours of scientific program content until May 2023. Registration will remain open until Friday 29 July 2022. The 2023 ASM will be held in Sydney on 5-9 May 2023.
We also run a range of special interest group (SIG) and regional continuing medical education events around Australia and New Zealand on behalf of the Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) tripartite alliance.
Fellows, trainees, and SIMGs receive a monthly events e-newsletter, so keep an eye on your inbox at the end of every month. Our events calendar promotes all our meetings and courses plus other clinical events and courses you might be interested in.
