Nicola Kent

Senior Associate, Avant Law, Qualifications: BA/LLB (Hons) (UQ), Grad Dip College of Law.

Nicola has been with Avant since 2017 and has extensive experience in health law. Prior to joining Avant, Nicola worked in private practice providing advice to insurer clients on regulatory matters and civil disputes.

Nicola has extensive experience acting on behalf of medical practitioners in disciplinary matters, complex regulatory investigations, coronial inquiries and Royal Commissions. She has represented clients in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Supreme Court of Queensland. She also provides general advice as part of Avant's Medico-Legal Advisory Service.
