Time to gown up – sustainably

Time to gown up sustainably webinar Tuesday 9 April 6.30pm - 7.30pm AEST

Single use surgical gowns are de rigueur in most operating theatres - but what are their unseen environmental impacts? Reusing gowns and reducing their use may help to reduce healthcare waste and contributions to landfill - what's stopping us?

Join our multidisciplinary panel of local and international speakers Dr Marion Kainer, Assoc Prof Forbes McGain, Dr Cliff Shelton and Dr Ben Dunne for an evening of exploring surgical and infection control perspectives on introducing reusable surgical gowns, and reviewing the necessity of surgical gowns for anaesthetic procedures. The webinar will be chaired by Dr Archana Shrivathsa.
