Our pioneering pain medicine training program is a two-year post-specialist qualification that leads to fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists with the post nominals FFPMANZCA.

We've created a dedicated grant for research in a range of aspects of professional practice, including simulation/education

The Scholar Role Sub-committee reports to the Education Executive Management Committee (EEMC) and hence the ANZCA council aspects of the Scholar Role in the ANZCA Training Program

The Pain Medicine Discharge Plan is a patient resource aligned to meet the recommendations of the ACSQHC clinical care standard.

The Obstetric Anaesthesia SIG is one of 17 SIGs jointly managed by ANZCA, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA), and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists (NZSA) through the Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) partnership.

The FPM Board oversees the activities of the faculty in accordance with the FPM by-laws and the ANZCA strategic plan.
