Our archives document the history and administration of the college, and its predecessor, as well as records of the Faculty of Pain Medicine. The archives are a rich source of primary material about the history of the organisation, and many individuals within it.

Every year, we make grant funding available through our ANZCA Foundation to investigators undertaking pilot or feasibility studies in anaesthesia, pain or perioperative medicine that may lead to large multi-centre clinical research

Awarded to the candidate with the best overall performance to go into the Masters of Medicine program at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Papua New Guinea.

The college works alongside colleagues in Papua New Guinea and other Pacific nations to help build and support their workforce capacity though educational and support initiatives as guided by colleagues in-country.

By-law 20 covers accreditation standards for Faculty of Pain Medicine training units, including multidisciplinary team requirements, supervisor qualifications, and compliance with ANZCA policies.

Awarded for outstanding achievement in anaesthesia within the Masters of Medicine program at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Papua New Guinea.

Awarded to practitioners who have demonstrated a significant contribution to medical education (in anaesthesia or pain medicine), including, but not limited to, ANZCA and FPM Fellows and academic experts.

Awarded for original work judged to be the best contribution to the FPM free papers session at the ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting. 

The ANZCA Medal recognises major contributions by fellows to the status of anaesthesia, intensive care, pain medicine or related specialties.
