The Emerging Investigators Sub-committee reports to and advises the Research Committee on issues relating to the support of trainee, junior, novice and other emerging research investigators including PhD candidate researchers.

Every year we run a strategic research workshop to collaborate on new research projects. We have an exciting program at the Annual Scientific Meeting as well as made recordings available of key educational sessions.

ANZCA clinical trials are facilitated at more than 130 sites, nationally and internationally, bringing together a network of world leaders in anaesthesia research. 

The Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) and Events Planning Committee reports to the Chief Executive Officer on matters relating to operational decisions in relation to the ANZCA/FPM ASM and other educational events run by ANZCA.

The Scholar Role Sub-committee reports to the Education Executive Management Committee (EEMC) and hence the ANZCA council aspects of the Scholar Role in the ANZCA Training Program

The JCCA comprises representatives appointed by the councils of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

The Airway Management Special Interest Group (SIG) is developing a network of airway leads throughout the Australian healthcare sector. Members will work collaboratively to improve airway management in anaesthesia. A similar network already exists in New Zealand.
