ANZCA and FPM are accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver our training programs, SIMG assessment process and continuing professional development program.

Participating in a continuing professional development (CPD) program is compulsory for specialist registration in Australia and New Zealand. Access to our world-leading CPD program is free for ANZCA and FPM fellows.

Our diploma of advanced diving and hyperbaric medicine (ANZCA Dip Adv DHM) provides a unique opportunity for specialist doctors to "take the plunge" into an exciting, emerging area of medicine.

In February 2021 ANZCA Council endorsed a recommendation to develop a dual anaesthesia and intensive care training pathway in collaboration with the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).

Launching in 2023, the Rural Generalist Anaesthesia training program is a joint initiative of ANZCA, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
