Digital health is becoming increasingly important in our healthcare system

The Airway Management Special Interest Group (SIG) is developing a network of airway leads throughout the Australian healthcare sector. Members will work collaboratively to improve airway management in anaesthesia. A similar network already exists in New Zealand.

The healthcare sector is highly interconnected with activities that emit pollution to air, water and soils, resulting in a significant ecological footprint and contribution to anthropogenic climate change.

We work with national, state and territory governments to ensure we're appropriately consulted on decisions affecting our members; the health systems they work within; and their ability to provide every patient with safe, high-quality, and culturally competent care.

Managed by the ANZCA Global Development Committee, we have a number of other initiatives to help support and build the anaesthesia and pain medicine workforce in western Pacific countries
