ANZCA's Safety and Quality Chair Professor David Story has been appointed the inaugural Head of the Department of Critical Care in the University of Melbourne's medical school.

The ANZCA Clinical Trials Network (CTN) administers the pilot grant scheme which awards up to $A30,000 each year to fellows to undertake pilot or feasibility studies.

The Professional Affairs Executive Committee (PAEC) reports to ANZCA Council on issues relevant or important to fellows of the college including fellowship engagement, policy, advocacy and community development.
