We have developed a number of overarching educational principles that have guided our decision-making in relation to education and training during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The POMSC reports to the ANZCA Council on the development and implementation of an effective integrated perioperative care model and education offerings for Australia and New Zealand.

The Rural SIG is one of 17 SIGs jointly managed by ANZCA, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA), and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists (NZSA) through the Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) partnership.

​The Communication in Anaesthesia SIG plans to develop workshops and resources and provide guidance to help improve anaesthetists’ skills in all communication related aspects of their work.

The Professional Affairs Executive Committee (PAEC) reports to ANZCA Council on issues relevant or important to fellows of the college including fellowship engagement, policy, advocacy and community development.

The Australian Capital Territory Trainee Committee is an elected body that acts as a conduit between fellows and trainees in the Australian Capital Territory region and the ANZCA Council to which they report.

Elected annually by NSW trainees, the committee act as a conduit between trainees and fellows, as well as with the ANZCA Council.

The New South Wales Regional Committee is an elected body that act as a conduit between Fellows and trainees in the New South Wales region and the ANZCA Council to which they report.

The CTVP SIG promotes excellence in education, research, and leadership in the field through the collaborative efforts of our members. We welcome all as members, who share a dedication to advancing our discipline.
