The clinical practice assessment (CPA) period is the period of supervised clinical practice an SIMG must complete during their individual program.

These describe the roles of a specialist anaesthetist and specialist pain medicine physician and how they apply to contemporary practice – includes scholar role and communicator role.

This pathway is open to FPM fellows and trainees in the PD stage who elect to expand their practice by gaining workplace-based experience in planning, performing and managing pain procedures while working under the supervision of an FPM-accredited procedural supervisor
