Jenna is a New Zealand fellow who completed training through the South Island Anaesthesia Training Scheme in early 2025, before moving to Melbourne for fellowship in cardiac and hepatobiliary/liver transplant anaesthesia at Austin Health. As of 2026, she is completing a further fellowship in Auckland in cardiothoracic anaesthesia.
Jenna was co-chair of the ANZCA Trainee Committee in 2024, where she worked alongside many ANZCA committees to make meaningful improvements to training, education and wellbeing for trainees. In this role she found inspiration to learn more about governance, completing the New Zealand Institute of Directors Governance Essentials Course in 2025.
Jenna is committed to advocating for:
- Advocacy for opportunities for new fellows as they transition into specialist position
- Support for new fellows as they navigate the constantly and rapidly changing landscape of health system challenges across Australia and New Zealand
- Securing the futures of new fellows through a strong active position on workforce pipeline planning
- Working to achieve health equity and the continued development of a workforce that represents its communities and meets their needs.
