Professor Olle Ljungqvist

Olle Ljungqvist MD, PhD Professor of Surgery at Örebro University, Sweden. He is the past chair of ESPEN and the ERAS Society which is also co-founded, has published over 300 papers in surgical stress, metabolism, nutrition & outcomes in ERAS, guidelines, many book chapters and edited textbooks. He gives about 20 international main lectures worldwide yearly and was awarded the International Surgical Society prize 2022.
