ANZCA & FPM are committed to a respectful and safe environment for all interactions inclusive of its conferences and meetings.

Our meetings are governed by all relevant ANZCA policies in relation to professional behaviour and conduct, including in relation to bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment.

Our meetings are dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. Sexual language and imagery or the use of personal photos without permission is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Blue Sky, X (formerly Twitter) and other online media.

Meeting participants, including sponsorship and exhibition representatives, violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the meeting without a refund at the discretion of the organisers.

Respectful behaviour is expected at all times from all participants. Appropriate behaviour respects difference and diversity, respects privacy, and handles disagreement politely. Honesty and fair dealing are expected.

Obtaining consent to quote others, use presentations or take photographs is appropriate and shows the respect expected of participants of the meeting.

Sponsors and exhibitors must respect the confidentiality of any proprietary or personal information shared during the event. The gathering of information from other sponsors or exhibitors outside of formal channels is strictly prohibited. Sponsors and exhibitors are expected to engage in transparent, ethical, and respectful interactions that prioritize the privacy and integrity of all parties involved. Any attempt to collect, share, or use information for competitive or unauthorized purposes will result in immediate review and potential removal from the event.

Sponsors and exhibitors are expected to fostering an environment of mutual respect, professionalism, and collaboration.

By adhering to these principles, we aim to create an atmosphere where innovation thrives, partnerships grow, and the integrity of all participants including sponsors and exhibitors is upheld. If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible to the Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager who will escalate to the Executive Director, Fellowship Affairs, Jan Sharrock if necessary.

Alternatively, you can make a report via email here. All personal details will remain confidential, issues raised will be investigated and necessary action taken to prevent a recurrence.

Acceptance of sponsorship will be subject to ANZCA & FPM’s approval. ANZCA & FPM reserves the right to decline applications from the healthcare industry based on, among other things, any company that does not uphold the objectives of the meeting and/or does not meet requirements within ANZCA’s sponsorship policy.

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing and must be signed by the person whose signature appears on the original confirmation form or their nominee. Cancellations received more than 10 weeks prior to the meeting will be liable for a $A100 administration fee.

Cancellations within 10 weeks of the meeting won’t receive a refund and will be liable for payment in full should it not have been received by the cancellation date. ANZCA & FPM reserves the right the right to cancel the meeting in circumstances beyond their control. In such a case all monies paid will be refunded in full. The liability of the organiser will be limited to that amount.

ANZCA & FPM reserves the right at any time to change the format of the meeting, content, location and timing or any other aspect of the event. ANZCA & FPM will make reasonable efforts to provide a program and content equivalent of standard if changes are made to the event. Consideration will be given to sponsors and their associated sponsorship agreement if impacted by the change/s. Agreements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and discussed accordingly.
