Professor Varut Lohsiriwat

Professor Varut Lohsiriwat graduated Doctor of Medicine (1^st-class honour and Gold medal) from Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand in 1999. He completed training in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He was granted M.Sc. in Surgical Science from University of London in 2007 and Ph.D. in Gastrointestinal Surgery from University of Nottingham in 2010.

He is an ERAS pioneer in Thailand. He has authored more than 50 book chapters and more than 130 peer-reviewed scientific papers. His work has been cited in the medical literature over 2500 times with h-index of 28.
