Dr Sajidah Ilyas

Sajidah is a consultant anaesthetist and the Deputy Director of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne. She is also a perioperative medicine specialist having completed a postgraduate master’s degree in perioperative medicine at University College London, UK.

She holds an academic appointment at the University of Melbourne. Her areas of interest are perioperative medicine, quality improvement initiatives and implementation science. She is the clinical lead for the development and implementation of ERAS for caesarean section and gynaecology programs across Mercy Health and in the Asia-Pacific region.
