Associate Professor Belinda O'Sullivan

 

Associate Professor of Research - Monash School of Rural Health

Dr Belinda O’Sullivan is an academic with a focus on rural health policy and research, including using a blend of strategies to attract and retain workforce and promote sustainable healthcare models.

She is an Associate Professor of Research at the Monash School of Rural Health and Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland.

She is a MABEL research team member, involving her in a large longitudinal panel survey of Australian doctors. She worked with rural WONCA to consult to the World Health Organisation and inform the implementation of rural workforce strategies.

Belinda is currently the Chief of Strategy and Performance at the Murray Primary Health Network and has previously had roles in the National Rural Health Commissioner’s Office, with Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Services and General Practice Supervisors Australia.

She is a graduate of the NSW Public Health Officer Training Program at NSW Health.
