Staff Specialist

Permanent Up to 1.5FTE Staff Specialist in the Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine. Successful applicants will be involved in providing clinical services in anaesthesia at Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals as well as have a role in administration, teaching, quality assurance, research and acute pain. Allocation of duties will depend on the requirement of the department of anaesthesia and the skills and interests of the appointee. There are also roles for the successful candidate to involve themselves in the wider hospital activities particularly in regards SRMO teaching and supervision. This position is also suitable for an adequately trained SIMG. Weighting may be given for candidates who have undertaken the ANZCA SIMG assessment process.
