Rebecca shares the Western Australia Trainee Committee (WATC) co-chair role with Dr Sarah O’Brien after having been involved in the WATC for the preceding two years. Her committee interests have been in supporting trainees to get through training and exams, and using her knowledge and experience from previous roles within ASA, AMC and AMA (WA and federal) to creatively progress training and workplace issues. Other extra-curricular interests include human factors, systems and QI, and learning from excellence.
This year as a provisional fellow Rebecca will be honing her skills in obstetric anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia. Outside of work she enjoys time to play tennis, work on craft projects, walk the dogs, and travel.
