2026 TAS ACE Summer Meeting
We look forward to welcoming you to Hobart to explore “new adventures” in anaesthesia.
On behalf of the organising committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2026 Tasmanian ACE Continuing Medical Education Meeting, to be held in the beautiful city of Hobart, Tasmania.
This year’s meeting brings together anaesthetists, trainees, and allied health professionals from across Australia and beyond to explore the latest developments in anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, pain management and critical care.
We are particularly excited about this year’s theme of “New Adventures”, which will be interwoven throughout the plenary sessions, workshops, and panel discussions. The program will not only revisit foundational concepts such as airway management from fresh perspectives, but will also address emerging opportunities in digital health innovation and the expanding role of artificial intelligence. This platform is intended to facilitate critical reflection on both the challenges confronting our profession and the opportunities to advance patient care and shape the future of practice. Our program has been carefully designed to provide a balance between inspiring keynote lectures and practical, skills-based workshops, while ensuring ample opportunity for discussion, collaboration, and professional networking.
Hobart provides a stunning backdrop for our gathering — a city that blends history, culture, and natural beauty. From the vibrant waterfront and Salamanca Market to the wilderness of kunanyi / Mount Wellington, we hope you will take the opportunity to enjoy all that Tasmania has to offer alongside the academic program.
We warmly invite you to join us in Hobart — to learn, to share your experiences, and to connect with colleagues and friends. Together, we will ensure that this meeting is both professionally enriching and personally memorable.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hobart at the end of Feb 2026.
With best wishes
