Christchurch primary exam revision course

This primary exam revision course will be held before the first sitting of ANZCA exams for 2026.
Course structure
This course has traditionally been exam focused and highly interactive with multiple SAQ and viva sessions throughout its six days. Written and verbal feedback is provided throughout the week.
It is not a lecture course, and we expect candidates to be prepared for the first sitting of the exam.
The course will again run in the Papa Hou Black Box theatre, Christchurch. This venue provides a tutorial space as well as the ability to break out into vivas.
Tea, coffee and lunches will be provided. There is a course meal on the Thursday.
Eligibility
Applicants must be sitting the primary exam in the first sitting of 2026 and have applied within the registration window.
Registration
Registration opens Monday 13 October and closes Friday 31 October. At this time, this listing will be updated with a registration form and further registration instructions.
Ranking
Preference will be given to candidates from New Zealand’s South Island, and those sitting the exam for the first time.
If the course is over-subscribed, eligible candidates will be selected at random, with those not initially offered a place moving on to a waiting list and positions offered as they become available.
Course costs and payment
Course costs are $NZ2000, covering tutor and venue expenses, and some meals and snacks.
Payment will be required within fourteen days of being offered a place on the course.
A full refund (minus bank fees) will be offered up to two months before the course start date for individual reasons (for example, not sitting), or up to and including the start date if the course cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances.
