The topic will be presented by Professor Christoph Maier. Professor Maier established one of the world’s first acute pain services, led one of Germany’s largest chronic pain clinics, co-founded the German and European Network for Nerve Pain Research, and is the chief editor of the German Textbook on Pain Medicine, with over 300 publications to his name.
