2023 Emerging Leaders Conference

Applications for the 2023 ELC have now closed and successful applicants have been notified.

Applications for the 2024 ELC will in open late 2023.

The college is invested in developing the leadership capabilities of our future leaders. The Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) is the college's pre-eminent leadership conference. The ELC brings together new fellows from a diverse range of backgrounds, and offers three days of dynamic content presented by anaesthesia and pain medicine leaders.

The conference will be held in the picturesque Hunter Valley at voco Kirkton Park, which offers the perfect location to meet likeminded people, share your story, discuss ideas, and enhance your leadership capabilities.

The theme is “Leading through shared experience”. Leaders require a broad range of skills to be truly effective. The sessions planned are designed to enhance these skills and challenge thoughts about leadership. Applications are invited from fellows in all training regions.

If you're considering applying, read what a few of our 2022 ELC delegates had to say about their experience here. We encourage all eligible fellows to apply to attend the conference.
