NSW ACE Winter Meeting "Anaesthesia - a bit of everything"

Please be advised that, after careful consideration of the evolving community transmission situation in Sydney, meeting convenors Dr John Leyden and Dr Simon Martel have made the tough decision to cancel this event due to concerns for the safety and wellbeing of delegates; the wisdom of gathering so many clinicians in one place; and current government guidelines around non-essential gatherings.

We’ve contacted all delegates directly via email and SMS explaining the situation and offering a full refund of the registration fee. If you’ve been affected by this announcement and haven’t received either communication, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

This year's meeting titled “Anaesthesia – a bit of everything” encapsulates the notion of the anaesthetic physician – trained to acutely manage myriad diseases and patients and provide safe, comprehensive and evidence based preoperative, operative and post-operative anaesthetic care. We are fortunate to be able to showcase a number of key speakers and topics to reinforce this notion and provoke thoughtful reflection on our own practices.
