Code of conduct at college events, courses, and meetings
ANZCA is committed to a respectful and safe environment. Our events and courses are governed by all relevant ANZCA policies in relation to professional behaviour and conduct, including in relation to bullying, discrimination and sexual harassment.
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free atmosphere for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
Obtaining consent to take photographs, quote others or use presentation materials is appropriate and demonstrates the respect expected at ANZCA events and courses. Further, sexual language and imagery or the use of personal photos without permission is not appropriate for presentations, workshops, celebrations or on social media. Those violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from an event or meeting at the discretion of the organisers.
All participants are expected to respect each other’s differences, diversity and privacy. Any disagreements should be handled politely. Honesty and fair dealing are expected.
If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome, please report it as soon as possible to the event organisers.
The information on the meeting website and in any event-related material is correct at the time of the original publication, however, the organisers reserve the right to change the information where necessary and without notice.
