Provisional Fellow Anaesthetics - Clinical Education or Ultrasound or General

This position involves a 50% clinical and a 50% education component. Clinical Anaesthesia (50%)  -  Provisional fellow clinical role provides the opportunity to broaden their experience delivering high-quality anaesthetic care in a tertiary surgical referral centre for both adult and paediatric patients, from both urban and rural populations. The provisional fellow has the opportunity to re-enforce or learn novel skillsets (including regional anaesthesia, clinical ultrasound skills and advanced airway techniques) and their clinical focus is able to be tailored to suit their needs. The fellow will transition to supervisory roles and gain first on-call experience in a supportive environment. Both the Townsville University Hospital and Mater Hospital Townsville (private) offer differing perspectives and sub-specialty exposure of interest can be negotiated across the two sites.
