You’ll be responsible for the provision of anaesthetic and intensive care services including day case anaesthetics, theatre sessions, outpatient anaesthetic assessment clinics, critical care and sedation services and acute pain management. Experience in Paediatrics, Intensive Care or Obstetrics anaesthesia is preferred.

Anaesthetic Fellow

The fellow provides anaesthetic and resuscitation care of in-patients, including anaesthesia and analgesia services in Birth Suite and Operating Theatres and the High Dependency Unit within the rules pertaining to Registrars/Residents. They are expected to assume a responsible role in the management of complex cases, on occasion supervising management by junior staff. The fellow will take part in organisation of Departmental non-clinical educational activities and should endeavour to complete the equivalent of one clinical research paper suitable for presentation at a national meeting or publication in a relevant peer-reviewed journal.
