Interested in standing for election for the ANZCA New Zealand National Committee in 2026-2028? Nominations are open now.
The ANZCA New Zealand National Committee (NZNC) acts as a conduit between fellows and trainees in New Zealand and the ANZCA Council to which it reports.
The NZNC undertakes a leadership role on issues that relate specifically to New Zealand and assists in implementing college policy in New Zealand.
It advises on issues of interest, represents the college and promotes the specialty, fosters relationships with key New Zealand stakeholders, and has a role in training, continuing medical education and other professional activities at a national level.
The NZNC consists of up to 12 elected members and those ANZCA Council members residing in New Zealand, as well as the co-chairs of the New Zealand Trainee Committee, the co-opted tumuaki of MANA (Māori Anaesthetists Network Aotearoa), and a new fellow representative.
Nominations for the ANZCA New Zealand National Committee are now open and will close at 5pm on Monday 9 March 2026.
Eligible fellows are invited to complete the ANZCA New Zealand National Committee nomination form and submit via email.
