CTN connects with the Gold Coast and Queensland research community.

The ANZCA Clinical Trials Network extended its 2026 Strategic Research Workshop beyond the main program with a multicentre research meeting co-hosted with Gold Coast University Hospital.

Held on Friday 21 August, the half-day meeting brought together around 70 clinicians, trainees, medical students, research co-ordinators, hospital leaders and senior CTN researchers. The program showcased research underway at Gold Coast Health and across Queensland, highlighted pathways into clinical research, and gave emerging investigators an opportunity to present new ideas, receive feedback and connect with experienced researchers from across the network.

The meeting reflects the CTN’s ongoing commitment to building research capability, supporting the next generation of clinician-researchers and strengthening connections between local research communities and the wider CTN.
