Grants available for rural specialists

Grants are on offer for rural anaesthetists and pain medicine specialists to attend CPD activities such as conferences and workshops.

A new round of grants has just been launched by Support for Rural Specialists in Australia (SRSA). These grants are designed to help rural specialists stay skilled and engaged so they can provide the best care to their communities.

Eligible applicants are invited to apply for a grant of up to $A12,000 to attend a CPD activity such as a conference, workshop, clinical attachment, or peer review. 

To be eligible, you must be either:

  • A (non-GP) specialist.
  • An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander specialist trainee.
  • A specialist international medical graduate under assessment.
