SRSC has reviewed meeting requirements

The SRSC has reviewed the requirements for regional and greater meeting attendance.
The SRSC has reviewed the requirements for regional and greater meeting attendance, and has made adjustments to facilitate flexibility for trainees while still achieving the underlying curriculum goals.
The requirement remains that two meetings are to be recorded on the TPS.
- One of these meetings must be a full-day (seven hours) or longer.
- The other meeting may be a combination of shorter meetings, to meet a minimum of seven hours. Each meeting must be one and a half hours or more. Meetings cannot be routine departmental education sessions; the ‘regional or greater’ requirement remains. These meetings should be recorded in a Word document (or similar) and only uploaded to the TPS once the seven-hour minimum has been met.
- At least three and a half hours of meeting must be attended in person (face-to-face).
We are aware that the TPS does not record these meetings and trainee and DSRT diligence is required to ensure that the face-to-face and total time requirements are met. We hope that this will be rectified in the next update of the TPS platform.
These changes have been updated in the ANZCA Handbook for Training.
