College sets strategic direction for evolution of accreditation

The college has undertaken a substantial review of accreditation processes and compared them to ANZCA's and FPM's.

From 2019 to 2021, the college convened the joint ANZCA and FPM Accreditation and Learning Environment Project (ALEP). The college benchmarked its processes against best practice and investigated how accreditation can better evaluate the clinical learning environment, which is the key to world-class training.
