2024 WA ACE Country Conference

The ACE WA Committee and King Edward Memorial Hospital are pleased to introduce the 2024 ACE WA Country Conference at the Pullman Resort in Bunker Bay.

Join us at this year’s ANZCA WA Country Conference, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the iconic Pullman Resort in Bunker Bay. Convened by King Edward Memorial Hospital’s anaesthesia department, our aim is to curate a symposium that seamlessly blends thought-provoking education with enjoyable social engagements.

Saturday morning heralds the commencement of our program with two captivating presentations. The first from our esteemed keynote speaker Professor Victoria Eley, exploring the theme of pain during caesarean. This will be followed by an erudite discourse by Dr Matt Rucklidge who promises to regale us with intriguing anecdotes from the annals of our profession’s history.

In our two morbidity and mortality (M&M) sessions, our speakers have been asked to share clinical cases involving challenges and triumphs, qualifying attendees at these sessions to score valuable ANZCA continuing professional development (CPD) points in the hard to fill “M&M” practice evaluation category.

Sunday morning is a dedicated half-day workshop session which provides:

  • Major haemorrhage.
  • Can’t intubate, can’t oxygenate (CICO).
  • Advanced life support (ALS) in obstetrics.

We’d like to thank Ms Melanie Roberts, Mrs Ineke Krom and Mr Warren O’Harae for their tireless efforts in the lead up to and during the weekend to ensure its success.
