Dr Tania Morris was co-opted to the FPM Board in May 2025 and is based in Queensland. She works part-time as a senior specialist in pain medicine and Co-Director of Sunshine Coast Persistent Pain Management service Queensland.
With almost twenty years of experience in chronic pain medicine, Dr Morris is nationally recognised for establishing and leading the Sunshine Coast public pain service.
She currently serves as:

- FPM Deputy Education Officer
- FPM representative, ANZCA Training Accreditation Committee
- Member, ANZCA Educators Subcommittee
- Member, Accreditation Renewal Steering Group
She brings a holistic, person-centred approach to pain care and has worked across anaesthesia and pain medicine following specialist training in Brisbane. A leader in clinician development, she is deeply committed to coaching, mentoring, and emotional intelligence, empowering colleagues and enhancing patient-centred care. Her work focuses on improving quality of life for people with persistent pain, promoting personalised care plans, and supporting clinician wellbeing through contemporary leadership practices.
Dr Morris also has extensive leadership and educational experience as a professional leadership coach and emotional intelligence trainer.
