Application for reconsideration, review, or appeal

If you believe a decision requires reassessment, you can apply for reconsideration, review, or appeal. This process ensures fairness by addressing procedural concerns or new evidence.

Application for special consideration

If unforeseen circumstances have impacted your performance or ability to meet requirements, you can apply for special consideration. This process allows for a fair assessment of your situation. You can refer to the policy for full information.

Attracting CPD points

CPD activities can be counted towards annual ANZCA CPD requirements, regardless of whether they are focused on perioperative medicine, anaesthesia or pain medicine. The ANZCA CPD activity guide lists all available CPD activities. For example, presenters can claim ‘presenting’ under knowledge and skills, regardless of their presentation topic. If you are not a FANZCA, please consult your respective college’s CPD team to confirm your specific CPD requirements.
