Seeking RGA delegate to attend ANZCA's pre-eminent leadership conference
We're inviting expressions of interest from Rural Generalist Anaesthetists (RGA) to attend the 2027 ANZCA Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) as a delegate. Applications close on 16 October 2026.
Overview
The Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) is the college's pre-eminent leadership conference. The ELC brings together new fellows from a diverse range of backgrounds and offers three days of dynamic content presented by anaesthesia and pain medicine leaders.
Eligibility criteria
- Have you attained fellowship with ACRRM and/or RACGP within the last 5 years*
- Do you hold a recent rural generalist anaesthesia award, such as the JCCA, DRGA and/or AC-RGA?
- Are you current and active in your RGA practice and interested in education and leadership within the RGA space?

Requirements for attendance
Successful applicants must:
- Attend the entire 2027 ELC (27-29 April 2027 in the Adelaide Hills)
- Attend the ANZCA ASM following the ELC for a minimum of two days, registering before early bird closes.
- Provide a written report following the ELC for noting at the next TC-RGA meeting.
