Save the date for the 2025 Neuroanaesthesia SIG meeting!

Save the date for the Neuroanaesthesia SIG "Evolving/Evolution" meeting to be held on Saturday 20 September 2025 at the Kerry Packer Education Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Precinct, Sydney.

The meeting will feature plenary sessions led by experts from across Australia, followed by a series of workshops held during the final session of the day. The workshops include:

•    Neuro ALS Sim course

•    Caldwell - Brain/ intracranial surgery IONM  

•    Neuro ICU and POCUS – (ICU trainees/ specialists only)

•    Regional for neuroanaesthesia 

•    Target Controlled Infusions (TCI) session 

For those unable to attend the meeting, the same workshops will be available at the Kerry Packer Education Centre. Additional information will be shared soon.

Registrations will open in May however if you have any questions, please contact ANZCA events.

Cost and registration

Registrations will open shortly. 

Non-members of ANZCA can register online too. Once you have completed your registration you will be provided with a college ID number and prompted for a password. This will allow you to register online for future meetings as well so please keep your college ID number. 

Your registration will include all refreshment breaks.

All registration fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.

For delegates attending the meeting, workshops will be held available from 3.30-5pm. If you wish to attend, delegates will be asked to indicate their workshop preference during registration.

Continuing professional development (CPD)

Participants in the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program will automatically have their attendance auto-populated to their CPD portfolio within 14 days of the conclusion of the meeting.

ANZCA and FPM CPD Program
This event is claimable by ANZCA and FPM CPD participants within the practice evaluation, knowledge and skills, or emergency responses categories.

Category 2: Knowledge and skills
Lectures/plenary sessions under ‘Learning sessions’
Workshops and small group discussions under ‘Short format learning’ activity

Category 3: Emergency responses
Where the workshop states that its satisfies an Emergency response CPD requirement, it has been recognised as suitable to be claimed as an emergency response activity, such as the CICO workshop.

If you're not a member of our CPD program
If you’re not participating in the ANZCA and FPM CPD program, please check with your respective college/provider regarding your CPD classifications. Post-event, you may request an electronic certificate of attendance for CPD evidence from the event organiser.
