2026 SA ACE Conference "Spring into CPD"

Held at the Amora (formerly the Hilton Adelaide), this conference is designed to fulfil ANZCA CPD requirements while offering an enriching, hands-on learning experience. Delegates will benefit from a comprehensive program, including:

• Three keynote presentations from respected experts (Category 2 CPD).
• A practice evaluation/critical reflection workshop (Category 1 CPD).
• A range of interactive workshops (Category 2 CPD).
• A range of emergency response workshops (Category 3 CPD).

Among the workshops, we’re excited to offer a specialised session on gastric ultrasound, plus a session on regional blocks and knobology providing a unique, practical opportunity to enhance your skills in this vital area of anaesthesia.

Workshops

This program includes three keynote presentations from respected experts (Category 2 CPD), and a practice evaluation/critical reflection session (Category 1 CPD). During the afternoon you’ll also have the chance to attend your choice of gastric and regional ultrasound workshops or emergency response workshops (category 3 CPD). 

Cost and registration

Registrations are now open and close Friday 28 August. Registration includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea. While workshops are included in the registration they must be selected separately when registering. 

Full registration: $595
Reduced trainee registration: $446
Allied health professionals: $446

Cancellation policy: Refunds will only be provided for cancellations advised in writing prior to the registration close date. Cancellations after the close date still incur venue and catering costs and therefore can’t be refunded.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Participants in the ANZCA and FPM CPD Program will automatically have their attendance auto-populated to their CPD portfolio within 14 days of the conclusion of the meeting.

This event is claimable by ANZCA and FPM CPD participants within the knowledge and skills or emergency responses categories.

Category 3: Emergency responses activities
Where the outline states that the workshop satisfies an Emergency Response CPD requirement, the workshop will be prospectively recognised as suitable to be claimed as an emergency response activity.

If you're not a member of our CPD program
If you’re not participating in the ANZCA and FPM CPD program, please check with your respective college/provider regarding your CPD classifications. Post-event, you may request an electronic certificate of attendance for CPD evidence from the event coordinator.
