2022 Emerging Leaders Conference Are you an emerging leader in anaesthesia or pain medicine? Do you want to enhance your leadership within your workplace? Are you within five years* of fellowship? Then the 2022 ELC is for you! Applications opening mid-September. Please check back soon for more information. Applications are invited from fellows in all training regions to attend the 2022 Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) on 26-28 April 2022 at Sandalford Estate, Swan Valley, Western Australia. To be eligible, fellows must have received their fellowship and be within five years* of fellowship on Friday 29 October 2021 and attending the 2022 ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). Selection will be undertaken by the regional and national committees and the Faculty of Pain Medicine. The ELC aims to facilitate leadership and management capabilities for those who want to prepare for challenges, learn new thinking and contribute professionally and to the college. Fellows who were in their last year of eligibility to apply to attend in 2021 are invited to apply to attend the 2022 ELC. Fellows invited to attend the 2020 ELC and were unable to attend the 2021 ELC, can apply for special consideration. Sandalford Estate is a unique venue situated in the stunning Swan Valley. It offers the perfect backdrop for generating vibrant and progressive ideas for our college future paths. The college and faculty are investing in their future leaders by covering the costs of this conference. The applicant is responsible for the cost of travel to and from the ELC, and the ASM registration fee and associated costs. We welcome and encourage parents with newborns and their support person. Unfortunately, family members including small children, are not otherwise permitted to attend due to the immersive nature of the conference.
