Cybersecurity notice
ANZCA is aware of a global cybersecurity incident impacting many universities and education institutions across Australia and New Zealand. We would like to advise that there is currently no evidence of any impact to our systems or data.
As a precaution, we are actively monitoring our environment and reviewing our controls.
Meanwhile, you are encouraged to remain alert to unusual activity and continue to follow good cybersecurity practices including:
- Be hypervigilant of phishing emails.
- Screen phone calls and messages from unknown numbers.
- Enable multifactor authentication (MFA) for system accounts.
- Don’t click on any links without checking they are safe or from a trusted sender.
- Most importantly, do not submit any personal information to strangers.
- Please refer to the Australian Government website for further guidance on protecting yourself.
If our assessment identifies any direct impact to you, we will communicate promptly with clear guidance and support.
